PESHAWAR, Jun 13 (APP):The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has allocated Rs. 17 billion for dairy development and livestock in 2025-26 budget.
According to budget document, Rs. 500 would be spent on breeding projects of horses in four districts of the province while Rs. one billion would be utilized to increase production of cattle.
The government has allocated Rs. one billion for construction of veterinary centers in merged districts and Rs. 300 million for poverty alleviation and support local economy in erstwhile tribal areas.
