KP Governor praises Pakistan Navy for successful LY-80 (N) missile tests

PESHAWAR, Jan 10 (APP): Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, has commended the Pakistan Navy for its professional excellence following the successful test of the LY-80 (N) missile and loitering munition.

Congratulating the Pakistan Navy on conducting a comprehensive and successful naval exercise in the North Arabian Sea, the governor said these achievements reflect a significant enhancement in the country’s defense capabilities, said a press statement issued here.

Kundi expressed satisfaction over the effective performance of the Navy’s modern air defense, surface-to-air strike, and automated systems, noting that these technologies have further strengthened maritime defense.

He also termed the successful open-sea trials of the Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) as a major advancement in safeguarding Pakistan’s maritime boundaries.

The governor praised the officers and sailors of the Pakistan Navy for their high level of professionalism and operational readiness, stating that the force is fully capable of responding to any challenge and is playing a vital role in ensuring national security.
