GUJRAT, Nov 22 (APP):Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi visited Gujrat on Saturday to offer condolences on the passing of the mother-in-law of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Gujrat District President and former Federal Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira, who was also the maternal aunt of former Kharian Tehsil Nazim Nadeem Asghar.
The Governor visited the residence of the deceased, where he expressed deep sorrow and sympathy with Qamar Zaman Kaira and the bereaved family.
He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and for strength to the family to bear the loss with fortitude.
Governor Kundi said he stood with the Kaira family in this difficult time.
Member of the National Assembly Noor Alam Khan and senior PPP leader Chaudhry Riaz also accompanied him during the visit.
