PESHAWAR, Apr 04 (APP):Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sohail Afridi here on Saturday took notice of the loss of lives and properties caused by the recent rains and flash floods, and expressed deep sorrow and regret over the loss of precious lives.
According to a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, the chief minister expressed heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of the deceased, prayed for the forgiveness of those who lost their lives in the incidents, and for patience and strength for the bereaved families.
The chief minister directed that the injured be provided with immediate and effective medical assistance and expressed best wishes for their speedy recovery.
He also instructed the relevant authorities to promptly assess the damages and ensure timely assistance to those affected.
The chief minister said that the provincial government shares equally in the grief of the affected families and that the victims will not be left alone in this difficult time.
