PESHAWAR, Aug 22 (APP):Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur has felicitated the newly elected office-bearers of the Hazara Journalists Association.
The CM extended his congratulations to newly elected President Luqman Shah and his cabinet, including General Secretary Naveed-ur-Rehman, Finance Secretary Muhammad Pervez, Vice Presidents Syed Naveed Jamal, Shams Abbasi and Ghulam Murtaza, Information Secretary Arshad Tanoli, Joint Secretaries Waqas Ahmed, Tayyab Khan and Shaukat Malik, as well as the successful members of the governing body Babar Malik, Muhammad Dawood, Sajjad Khan, Ashfaq Tanoli, Hamza Ihsan, Shakeel Ahmed, Ali Tanoli, Yasir Mahmood Abbasi, Jahangir Ahmed, Abrar Wali, Anila Shaikh, Umair Khan, Ahsan Awan, Nauman Sadiq and Sultan Awan.
Gandapur, in his message, said that journalists are the “eyes of society” who, through the power of their pen, play a vital role in reforming and improving societies.
He expressed the hope that the newly elected body of Hazara journalists would continue to represent the democratic aspirations of the people and highlight public issues in a constructive manner.
