PESHAWAR, Jun 13 (APP): The KP Minister for Finance said that the government has allocated Rs547 billion developmental expenditure for the upcoming year which will include Rs 195 billion PADP, Rs39 district ADP, Rs39.600 merged tribal districts ADP, Rs92.740 AIP, Rs177.188 foreign project assistances and Rs3.472 federal PSDP.

The Minister said that an estimated Rs129 billion revenue would be collected including Rs17 billion under debt management fund, Rs7.2 billion from cement royalty in as mines and mineral sector and Rs.4.8 billion
additional taxes by KPRA.

The Govt has reduced the stamp duty on transfers and allotment of residential and commercial plots from two percent to one percent and the property tax has been waived off on residential and commercial plots measuring 4.9 marlas.

The government has also reduced hotel bed tax from 10pc to seven percent while the professional on individual with Rs36000 monthly income abolished besides waiving off tax on environmental friendly electric transport and maintaining relief in tax for ex FATA and PATA with no new tax on it.

The Minister said that the health budget was increased to Rs276 billion for fiscal year 2025-26 against Rs232 billion in 2024-25 which is 19 percent more while the budget of Sehat Card Plus increased to Rs35 billion against Rs28 billion which is 25 percent more.

Similarly, Rs six billion allocated for Sehat Sahulat Program for merged areas for upcoming fiscal year including Rs 1200 million for basic and rural health units, establishment of health care centres for newborns in five districts, setting up of cardiac units of PIC in Mardan, Bannu, nursing college in upper Chitral, upgradation of Sadda Hospital in Kurram and reconstruction and renovation of Dabori hospital in Orakzai.
