KP Bar Council elections 2025, campaigns enter final stage as election fever peaks in Hazara Division

ABBOTTABAD, Oct 31 (APP):Election activities for the upcoming Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council elections have reached their peak across the Hazara Division.
Lawyers from Abbottabad, Mansehra, and Haripur are vigorously campaigning for their respective candidates.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council elections to be held on November 1, 2025. Out of the 28 seats of the provincial bar council, five seats have been allocated for Hazara Division where two each for Abbottabad and Mansehra, and one for Haripur.
A total of 15 candidates is contesting these seats, making the competition intense and highly engaging.
In Abbottabad, eight candidates are contesting for two seats. Prominent among them are former District Bar President Asad Khan Jadoon, and former KP Bar Council members Syed Faisal Shah and Ali Khan Jadoon.
Other candidates include Kamran Gul, Saeed Tanoli, Malik Waseem, and Zarif Qureshi. Reportedly, Abdul Aziz Khan Tanoli is contesting as a covering candidate for Faisal Shah.
In Haripur, a direct contest is expected between former District Bar Presidents Asadullah Malik and Syed Shahid Shah, while in Mansehra, five candidates are vying for two seats. These include Waqas Raza Khan, Sardar Waqar-ul-Malik, Hafiz Naseem Khan, Rafiq Yousaf, and Kamran Rehmani.
Across the Hazara Division, 2,370 lawyers will exercise their right to vote — including 850 from Abbottabad, 702 from Haripur, and 600 from Mansehra.
Additionally, a smaller number of lawyers from Havelian, Ghazi, Balakot, Oghi, and Battagram will also cast their votes.
According to sources, each voter will be entitled to cast five votes — two for Abbottabad, two for Mansehra, and one for Haripur — making the electoral process even more competitive and vibrant.
