PESHAWAR, Jan 10 (APP):The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa carried out a significant operation, reclaiming 190 Kanals and 2 Marlas of land worth Rs. 21,38,62,500 from illegal occupation in Tangi, District Charsadda.
The recovered land belongs to the KP Housing Authority and was reportedly under illegal occupation, as revealed by an inquiry following complaints lodged with the ACE. The inquiry confirmed the illegal encroachment, prompting swift action.
The operation was conducted with the support of the Charsadda district administration and the District Police Officer (DPO). The recovered land was officially handed over to the Assistant Commissioner (AC) Tangi for further legal proceedings.
ACE officials stated that after completing the necessary formalities, the Assistant Commissioner will transfer the land to the relevant authorities in the KP Housing Authority.
This recovery marks a significant achievement in the Anti-Corruption Establishment’s ongoing efforts to combat illegal encroachments and protect public assets
