KOT ADDU, Jul 11 (APP):In line with the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, the process of fair distribution of joint land holdings is actively underway across Punjab, including Kot Addu district.
Deputy Commissioner Kot Addu Munawar Abbas Bukhari chaired a meeting with revenue staff working under the ‘PLUS Project’ to review the progress and ensure transparency in the distribution process. He said the PLUS Project was playing a pivotal role in addressing potential grievances at various stages of the land distribution process, ensuring the division of joint accounts (Khatas) and Khewats is carried out in a transparent and fair manner. He distributed special incentive cheques among revenue officers who demonstrated outstanding performance in the project. He said the initiative reflected the government’s commitment to encourage officers and deliver better public service.
The event was attended by PLUS Project Focal Person Waseem Awan and Divisional Coordinator Muhammad Shakeel. DC Bukhari added that the step was a clear testament to the dedication of the revenue staff towards resolving long-standing joint ownership cases and improving service delivery under the PLUS Project.
