KOHAT, Apr 16 (APP):The Kohat administration led by Deputy Commissioner Azmatullah Wazir on Tuesday has convened a high-level meeting to spearhead an intensive anti-polio campaign in the district.
According to DC Office, Azmatullah Wazir made a appeal to the people of Kohat, urging them to ensure their children receive the essential vaccine and cooperate with the polio teams.
“We have a collective responsibility to eradicate polio from our midst,” the DC emphasized, “and this goal can only be achieved through our united efforts.”
The administration’s unwavering commitment to this cause was evident as they vowed to mobilize the community and leave no stone unturned in their pursuit of a polio-free future.
The meeting attended by key stakeholders including the Kohat Police, District Khatib and health officials, delved into the strategic planning to combat the crippling poliovirus.
