SUKKUR, Feb 04 (APP): The Department of Pakistan Studies at Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) on Wednesday observed Kashmir Solidarity Day with a seminar, drawing significant participation from students and faculty.
Prof Dr Liaqat Ali Chandio advocated for Kashmiris’ fundamental rights, condemning oppression and violence. Dr Inayatullah Bhatti outlined the Kashmir dispute’s history, calling for a UN supervised plebiscite.
Students, including Sawera Shaheen and Abdul Wasaya, expressed solidarity with Kashmiris. Participants reaffirmed support for Kashmiris and called for a peaceful resolution per UN resolutions.
