Kashmir (IIOJK) merits global leaders' deep concern : Chairman Ulema Council

FAISALABAD, Aug 05 (APP): Chairman Central Ulema Council Pakistan Sahibzada Zahid Mehmood Qasmi Thursday urged global leaders to raise voice in favour of Kashmiri people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJK) who were struggling for their right to self-determination from the last seven decades due to Indian atrocities.

While addressing a Kashmir Solidarity Conference here, he said that the entire Pakistani nation has expressed it consistent stance in favour of oppressed Kashmiri brethren.

He condemned the Modi government which has perpetuated military siege in the region and appealed to the United Nations and human rights’ organizations across the globe to take urgent notice of Indian atrocities and massacre
ongoing in Kashmir valley.

Central Secretary General Ulema Council Pakistan Allama Shah Nawaz Farooqi, Vice Chairmen Pir Khalid Mehmood Qasmi, Hafiz Mohammad Shaban Siddiqui, Hafiz Shoaib-ur-Rehman Qasmi, Central Deputy Secretary General Maulana Shabbir Ahmad Usmani,

Central Deputy Secretary Hafiz Mohammad Amjad, Legal Adviser Mian Muhammad Tayyab Advocate, Finance Secretary Allama Hafeez-ur-Rehman Qasmi, Raees Dar-ul-Ifta Mufti Hafiz-ur-Rehman Banuri and others also addressed the conference.
