DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Oct 27 (APP): Deputy Commissioner Dera Mansoor Arshad has said that every Pakistani stands with the Kashmiris in their struggle for freedom.

He said that October 27, 1947, was the darkest day in the history of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) when India illegally entered the valley and forcefully established its rule by oppressing innocent civilians.

He expressed these views while addressing the Kashmir Black Day ceremony at the State Child Institute “ZamungKor”.

He asserted that the widespread participation of citizens from all walks of life on Kashmir Black Day was a testament to the fact that all the Pakistanis were united with the Kashmiri brothers and sisters.

He highlighted India’s 76-year-long failed attempts to achieve its nefarious objectives and appealed to the United Nations and the global community to ensure the right to self-determination for the people of Kashmir.

The manner in which the children of ZamungKor expressed their feelings with the Kashmiri people is worthy of praise, I will continue to visit this institution and will cooperate with this institution and children in every possible way, he added.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Syed Gulfam Abbas Shah said on the occasion that freedom was a fundamental right of the people of IIOJK and urged international human rights organizations to take strict notice of the Indian atrocities on the oppressed Kashmiri people.
