LAHORE, Nov 01 (APP): Preparations are underway to transform the historic Kamran Baradari into a modern and innovative entertainment destination in the city.
A meeting chaired by Minister for Housing and Urban Development Bilal Yasin was held at the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Lahore to review recommendations for the expansion and development project.
Secretary Housing Noorul Amin Mengal and PHA Director General Mansoor Ahmed briefed the minister in detail about the proposed features and design of the project. According to the briefing, the area of Kamran Baradari has been expanded from 5 acres to 15 acres, and preliminary cost estimates have been prepared for its completion.
The project envisions a blend of cultural heritage and modern leisure facilities, including the Ravi Show Restaurant, atrium dining, ship dining, sky dining, and wooden bakery outlets. Additionally, golf courts, walkways, buggy tracks, fountains, play areas, and selfie points will be established to attract visitors and enhance recreational opportunities.
Officials said the initiative aims to preserve the historical significance of Kamran Baradari while turning it into a vibrant public space that promotes tourism, family recreation, and urban beautification in Lahore.
