FAISALABAD, Feb 18 (APP):A buffalo, Kajal, of Mian Sajjad Hali from Chak 276-RB, has won the top prize by producing 31.450 kilograms milk during the All-Punjab Milk Festival held at Chak 253-RB Jahangir Kalan on the occasion of Baba Motian Wali Urs under the aegis of Livestock Department.
According to competition results, Piari, a buffalo owned by Asghar from Chak 208-RB secured second position with 26.740 kg milk while another buffalo, Jaji, owned by Shehzad Sanpal, stood third with 25.770 kg milk.
Director Livestock Dr. Haidar Ali Khan attended the competition as chief guest and later distributed prizes among the position holders.
The top position holder was awarded cash prizes of Rs.100,000/ while Rs.50,000 were given to each of the second and third position holders along with trophies, a spokesman of livestock department said here on Wednesday.
