RAWALPINDI, Dec 15 (APP):The Cantt Police arrested a proclaimed offender involved in the fatal shooting of a citizen over a personal dispute, a Rawalpindi Police spokesman said on Monday.
The case was registered in June 2024. The suspect, who had been at large, was also wanted in multiple cases across the twin cities and various districts of Punjab, including terrorism, murder, attempted murder, robbery, theft and illegal possession of weapons, the spokesman said.
He said the arrest was made after the Cantt Police employed technical surveillance and human intelligence to trace and apprehend the accused.
Superintendent of Police Potohar Talha Wali said the proclaimed offender woud be challaned to court with solid evidence. He added that the police remained committed to bringing fugitives to justice through sustained intelligence-led operations.
