Job portal set up in FCCI

FAISALABAD, Sep 28 (APP):Provincial Labour department in collaboration with the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has set up a job portal in the basement of Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI).
President FCCI Dr. Khurram Tariq formally inaugurated this portal and termed it as a blessing not only for industrialists but also for the job seekers. .
He said that Industrialists could upload their requirements of skilled manpower as per their demands on this portal free of cost. Similarly the workers could also register them and get appropriate job. He said that it is an in-time step in right direction in this age of digitalization. He said that industrialists could get required skilled workers without any additional cost. He said that there are many paid websites providing this facility but their data is not only obsolete but also unauthentic. He appreciated the efforts of the PITB and said that it should upload only reliable and authentic data with continuous and regular updating.
Dr. Khurram Tariq said that NADRA is included among five top data companies of the world and hence job portal should also be linked with it.
Shams-ul-Islam senior program manager PITB briefed the FCCI President about this facility and said that all provincial departments have already been linked with job portal while it would be soon hooked-up with NADRA. He said that all vacant posts of provincial departments are uploaded on this portal for the benefit of the job aspirants. He said that a mechanism has been developed for the automatic deletion of the old and obsolete data.
Senior Vice President Dr. Sajjad Arshad, Vice President Haji Muhammad Aslam Bhalli, Director Labour (West) Ghulam Shabir Kaliar and Director Labour (East) Rai Yasin Sarfraz were also present during this event.
