SARGODHA, Dec 02 (APP): A grand Job Fair was organized at the Government College of Technology for Women (GCTW), New Satellite Town, on Tuesday to provide employment opportunities to female diploma holders.
Director General of Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA), Amir Aziz, attended the event as the chief guest.
The event witnessed a large turnout of students, teachers, and dignitaries, including Deputy Director Anti-Corruption, GCTW Principal Noreen Naz, Principal GCT Boys Engineer Iftikhar Ahmed, Shazia Bangash, Muhammad Numan, Sabih Zahra, Miss Saira, and Usman Ali.
Representatives from various companies set up separate counters where female graduates submitted their applications and held direct interviews with potential employers.
Talking to the media, DG TEVTA Amir Aziz stated that the primary objective of the fair was to connect degree-holding students with the best possible career opportunities.
He highlighted that under the Chief Minister Punjab’s “Women Empowerment” vision, 32 such job fairs are being organized across the province.
He expressed satisfaction with the Sargodha event, noting that 35 industries participated and hundreds of female students benefited from the direct interaction with the corporate sector.
He added that such initiatives would help secure a bright future for the students and guide them on a path to professional success.
