individuals in it’s true spirit with the belief the Quranic teachings can bring about positive
change in society.
Secretary General of the Women Wing of Jamat Islami Pakistan, Dr. Humaira Tariq, who
spoke at a special Fehm-e-Quran session here the other day, said that the Holy Quran is
the only effective source for the moral and social reform of society and urged the women
educators to play an active role in spreading its teachings.
Fahm-e-Quran session was organised by the Women Wing of Jamaat-e-Islami under its
“Har Dil Tak Quran” campaign in Multan last Monday evening.
She said the strategy to bring about positive change in society, as outlined by Islamic teachings,
begins with reform, education and awareness at the grassroots level, ultimately leading to
constructive societal transformation. She said Jamat Islami would continue its efforts for
change by combining Quranic outreach with the organisation of righteous and committed individuals.
Encouraging the trainers, she remarked that they should “sow the seeds of goodness and
light the lamps of virtue.” She stressed that the Quran provides a complete code of life
capable of guiding individuals, families and society towards justice, righteousness and
lasting reform.
During the session, Project Incharge Anila Mahmood received feedback from participants,
who shared that the Fahm-e-Quran classes had brought significant spiritual, intellectual
and practical improvements in their lives.
She said, Jamaat-e-Islami promotes obedience and devotion to Allah, and urged all to
follow the guidelines conveyed by the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him).
She also outlined future targets of the campaign, urging participants to expand their outreach.
She said the organisation aims to conduct Dora-e-Quran programmes at 24,000 locations
in the next phase and called upon the trainers to actively contribute to achieving this goal.
Congratulating the participants, she said they had been entrusted with the responsibility

and perseverance.
