FAISALABAD, Aug 13 (APP):Tanzeem-ul-Lisan organization arranged a Jashan-e-Azadi function at its center near Dhubi Ghat Ground and cut a cake to celebrate the 77th Independence Day of Pakistan.
Director General (DG) Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Muhammad Asif Chaudhry cut the cake in a most befitting ceremony and said that Tanzeem-ul-Lisan was rendering marvelous job by imparting education to the special children in order to make them a productive member of the society.
He said, “Youm-e-Azadi reminds us that this country was obtained after unprecedented sacrifices offered by our forefathers. Now we are collectively duty bound to make strenuous efforts for the progress and prosperity of the country.”
He said that the government was committed to provide quality education to all segments of the society and in this connection maximum facilities and incentives coupled with scholarships were being offered for the talented students.
Director General FDA flanked by special children also released balloons in the air.
He announced that special children would be invited in the Sports Complex of FDA City for indoor games and other recreational activities very soon.
President Tanzeem-ul-Lisan Dr Iftikhar Ahmad, General Secretary Subhan Ali, Prof Dr Muhammad Qasim, Ghulam Rabbani, Aezad Mehmood Advocate, Principal Kalsoom Iftikhar, Vice Principal Shaista Irshad and others were also present on the occasion.
