ISLAMABAD, Feb 15 (APP):Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) will deploy its mobile facilitation vans at various locations across the federal capital from February 16 to February 22, 2026, to provide essential services to citizens.
Alongside the facilitation vans, Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police will also operate its Police Station on Wheels (PS on Wheels) to enhance public access to policing services.
An official told APP on Sunday that the initiative aims to facilitate citizens by providing on-the-spot services through specially equipped mobile units operating daily from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Under the programme, citizens can avail services including character certificates, documentation reports, driving licence-related services, duplicate licences, and learner permits without visiting fixed offices.

The official explained that the PS on Wheels (Police Station on Wheels) is designed to provide basic policing services directly to citizens through mobile facilities.
He added that the facilitation vans are being supervised by trained officers, with ASI Younas serving as the Incharge of Vans. Citizens may contact him at 0317-1528717 for assistance.
Citizens were advised to contact the ITP helpline 1915 for further information, while police personnel will remain present at all locations to guide visitors.
