ISLAMABAD, Jul 07 (APP):Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) on Monday announced special traffic arrangements for the 11th Muharram procession, scheduled to be taken out from Noor Pur Shahan.
An ITP spokesperson told APP that the procession will start from the residence of Nawazish Shah in Noor Pur Shahan, by passing through Darbar Bazaar Road, and will enter the shrine of Bari Imam before returning to its starting point for culmination.

He said that during the procession, T-cross on Quaid-e-Azam University Road and T-cross Bari Imam Chowk will remain closed for general traffic.
Chief Traffic Officer Captain (R) Syed Zeeshan Haider said commuters can use alternate routes including Third Road, Margalla Road, Kashmir Chowk, and Murree Road to avoid inconvenience.
CTO Zeeshan said citizens are advised to use alternative routes during the procession to ensure smooth traffic flow.
He said the general public must avoid illegal parking around the procession route to prevent congestion.

CTO said vehicles should only be parked in designated parking areas.
He said citizens are requested to fully cooperate with traffic police during the procession.
CTO Zeeshan urged the public to support the ITP in maintaining order and facilitating safe movement during religious gatherings.
