ISLAMABAD, Oct 09 (APP):Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has issued a special traffic diversion plan to ensure smooth vehicular movement during the Jamaat-e-Islami rally, which began from Faisal Masjid on Thursday.
An ITP official told APP that Nawaz Chowk towards Faisal Avenue will remain closed for both incoming and outgoing traffic during the event.
Motorists traveling from Zero Point to Faisal Avenue have been advised to use F-8 Service Road and Parveen Shakir Road.
Those heading from Faisal Chowk to Zero Point should take Parveen Shakir Road and F-8 Service Road as alternate routes.
Traffic moving from Nawaz Chowk towards F-7 has been directed to use the F-7 Service Road to avoid congestion.
The official said that continuous traffic updates are being provided through FM Radio 92.4 and ITP’s official social media channels.
He urged citizens to follow police instructions, use alternate routes, and cooperate with on-duty officers to ensure smooth traffic flow during the rally.
