ISLAMABAD, Oct 22 (APP):Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) organized a traffic awareness seminar at Nova School to educate students about traffic laws, road safety, and responsible driving practices.
An official told APP on Wednesday that the event was part of ITP’s ongoing campaign to promote road safety among citizens, particularly the youth. The seminar was attended by Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Captain (R) Hamzah Humayun as the chief guest, along with Director ITP FM Ayesha Jameel and officers from the ITP Education Wing.

During the session, CTO Hamzah addressed the students, emphasizing the importance of traffic discipline and responsible behavior on roads. He said that abiding by traffic laws not only ensures safety but also reflects good citizenship.
Officers from the Education Wing gave practical demonstrations on traffic signals, pedestrian rights, and seatbelt usage, while also highlighting the need for helmets and standard number plates for safe travel.
The official added that ITP will continue such educational activities in schools and colleges to build awareness and promote a culture of safety and discipline among young road users.
