ISLAMABAD, Feb 26 (APP):Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) organised a road safety workshop for students and faculty members of Quaid-i-Azam University’s Sociology Department to promote awareness about traffic rules and safe road behaviour.
An ITP official told APP on Thursday that Chief Traffic Officer Captain (R) Hamza Humayun addressed the participants and highlighted the importance of following traffic laws to prevent accidents and ensure safer roads.
CTO Hamzah briefed students on key aspects of road safety, responsible driving practices, and common traffic violations that contribute to road mishaps.
The official said participants were also informed about Islamabad Police’s public facilitation initiatives, including modern licensing services and awareness programmes aimed at improving citizen convenience.
