QUETTA, Aug 23 (APP):Chairman of the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid on Friday said that Ismail Industries in Balochistan’s Hub has emerged as the name of Pakistan worldwide due to its quality products.
She expressed these views while briefing regarding the Ismail Industries in Hub Industrial district of Balochistan.
Lasbela Industrial Estate Development Authority (LIEDA)’s MD Farid Muhammad Hossani briefed Senator Rubina Khalid and President Asif Ali Zardari’s Spokesperson for Balochistan and Adviser for Industries, Mir Ali Hassan Zehri about the Ismail Industries and others during a visit to Hub Industrial Zone.
He said in briefing that Ismail Industries located in Hub industrial district of Balochistan has won the honor of being the first industrial enterprise of Pakistan to supply nutrition food items for the United Nations World Food Organization.
The Industrial Institute of Pakistan has received the contract for the supply of nutrition foods from the United Nations for children suffering from malnutrition during natural disasters around the world.
He informed that the demand for Pakistani food nutrition items was increasing worldwide due to quality products saying that thanks to the facilities provided by the Government of Balochistan, Hub district has become an attractive industrial zone for industrialists.
On this occasion, Senator Rubina Khalid said that the visionary spirit of the management of the firm which has achieved a prominent position in the production of quality products that have become the hallmark of Pakistan around the world and the future of the company which manufactures nutrition food items through a modern plant was brilliant.
On this occasion, Mir Ali Hassan and Senator Rubina Khalid visited the various units of the production plant along with the company management including Deputy Commissioner Hub Ruhana Gul Kakar, MD LIEDA Farid Muhammad Hossani.
Talking to the industrialists, President Asif Ali Zardari’s Spokesperson for Balochistan and Adviser for Industries, Mir Ali Hassan Zehri said that there were opportunities for industrialists in Balochistan in various fields saying that Balochsitan government was ready to provide all possible facilities to the investors.
A special economic zone is going to be developed in the Hub industrial district closest to Karachi port and setting up a new industrial zone on 406 acres with the infrastructure development of LIEDA’s industrial phase two where the best security system along with other facilities like electricity, water, gas provides the best opportunity for safe investment for investors, he mentioned.
He said that thanks to the special interest of President Asif Ali Zardari, the industrial sector has been declared as the top priority.
He said that the government of Balochistan would welcome investors to invest in Hub District.
