PESHAWAR, Nov 09 (APP): Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Sunday paid rich tribute to the great philosopher, poet, and thinker Allama Dr. Muhammad Iqbal on the occasion of Iqbal Day, observed across the country on November 9.
In his message, the Governor said that Allama Iqbal’s vision and philosophy awakened the spirit of self-awareness and independence among the Muslims of the subcontinent, ultimately paving the way for the creation of Pakistan.
Governor Kundi said that Iqbal’s concept of Khudi (selfhood) continues to inspire the nation to uphold dignity, self-respect, and moral strength.
He emphasized that the youth, in particular, should study and follow Iqbal’s teachings to contribute effectively toward national progress and development.
He added that Pakistan can only achieve true prosperity by adhering to the principles of justice, equality, and unity envisioned by Allama Iqbal.
“Let us reaffirm our commitment to building a strong, progressive, and united Pakistan in line with the dreams of Allama Iqbal and the founding fathers,” Governor Kundi concluded.
