Muzaffargarh , Oct 15 (APP):Police in Kot Addu have arrested members of an inter-district motorcycle theft gang and recovered four stolen motorcycles worth hundreds of thousands of rupees, officials confirmed on Monday.
According to a police spokesperson, SHO City Kot Addu Malik Shakeel Ahmed led the successful operation, apprehending two suspects identified as Tahir and Naeem. The accused were allegedly involved in stealing motorcycles from crowded areas, busy city roads, and even from General Hospital Kot Addu, taking advantage of public rush.
Police recovered multiple stolen motorcycles of different models from the suspects’ possession. A formal case has been registered against them, and further investigation is underway.
Under the directions of SDPO Kot Addu Abdul Ghaffar Khan, raids are being conducted to arrest the remaining members of the gang. Authorities have reaffirmed their commitment to eliminating organized vehicle theft networks in the region.
