MUZAFFARABAD, Jan 25 (APP): Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Minister for Information, Auqaf and Religious Affairs, Chaudhry Muhammad Rafique Nayyar has reiterated Kashmiris’ pledge to continue the ongoing liberation struggle till they achieve the long cherished goal of freedom from India In his message issued on the eve of January 26, he said that Kashmiri people observe India’s Republic Day as a Black Day as a mark of their resentment and anguish against the India’s imperialistic occupation of the region.
He said that the Kashmiri people have made immense sacrifices in their struggle to achieve the right to self-determination, a right guaranteed to them by the international community through numerous United Nations resolutions.
Describing India’s claim of being the world’s largest democracy as the biggest fraud, Mr. Rafique Nayyar said that India, under the RSS-driven Modi regime, has descended into a fascist state where minorities are facing a grave and existential threat.
The Minister emphasized that the people of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir will continue to provide moral, political, and diplomatic support to the people of occupied Kashmir and will never retreat from this principled stance.
Rafique Nayyar said that every effort aimed at resolving the Kashmir issue through meaningful and result-oriented dialogue is commendable; however, any solution that disregards the aspirations of the Kashmiri people or sidesteps the UN resolutions will not be acceptable to them.
He made it clear that the Kashmiri people regard the State of Jammu and Kashmir as an indivisible entity and any attempt to undermine its geographical integrity would be resisted by its people. He expressed the hope that the Kashmiri people’s struggle for right to self determination will reach its logical conclusion, despite all odds.
