QUETTA, Aug 13 (APP):Governor Balochistan Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandukhail on Tuesday said that Independence Day was a great day for Pakistan, as Pakistanis, we have to appreciate the priceless gift of freedom.
He expressed these views while talking to APP regarding the 77th Independence Day.
The Governor Balochistan said that the August 14 Independence Day was the most important day in the history of Pakistan saying that on this day, the sacrifices, hard work and struggle of the elders and people who had struggled to make Pakistan, we should thank Allah for freeing us from slavery and announcing August 14, 1947, as a day to free Pakistanis from slavery.
If the Muslims of Pakistan are compared to other countries including India where Muslims are a minority, if done with, we will come to truly appreciate the blessing of freedom, he said. He said that today we were breathing in the free air, the struggle and sacrifices of elders should be valued.
