Imam Masjid-e-Nabawi leads Maghrib prayer at Badshahi Masjid

LAHORE, Aug 12 (APP):Thousands of faithful participated in the Maghrib prayer led by Dr. Salah bin Muhammad Al-Budair, the Imam of Masjid-e-Nabawi (PBUH), at Alamgeri Badshahi Masjid, here on Monday.
Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Nawaf Bin Saeed Al Malaki, Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman and Khateeb Badshahi Masjid Abdul Khabeer Azad, Secretary Auqaf Tahir Bukhari and eminent personalities from all walks of life also offered the prayer.
In the sermon after the prayer, Sheikh Salah bin Muhammad Al-Budair expressed best wishes for Pakistan’s development and prosperity. He highlighted the importance of obeying Allah and His Messenger (PBUH). He stressed on spreading peace and called for avoiding divisiveness. He emphasized the unity of the Muslim Ummah and prayed for the peace, stability and unity of the Muslim Ummah.
He specially prayed for the end of the sufferings of the Muslims of Gaza and Palestine and the liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Earlier, upon arrival at the historic Badshahi Masjid Lahore, Imam Dr. Salah bin Muhammad Al-Budair received a warm welcome by Secretary Auqaf Tahir Bukhari and Khateeb Badshahi Masjid Abdul Khabeer Azad.
