FAISALABAD, Oct 09 (APP):Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has demolished illegal constructions in Madina Town here on Thursday.
FDA spokesman said that on the directives of FDA Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhry, FDA enforcement team launched operation against illegal constructions in residential colonies and commercial markets.
During inspection of under-construction buildings in various colonies, the FDA team found illegal construction activities on plots No. 29.X.101 and 59.X.101 located on Main Susan Road Madina Town.
The owners of these plots had been served legal notices and issued challans for violating building regulations, but they failed to comply.
Therefore, acting on FDA administration’s instructions, the enforcement team demolished portions of the under-construction structures erected in violation of approved plans at both plots in Madina Town.
Director Town Planning Asma Mohsin and Estate Officer Aneeb Aslam Randhawa supervised and led the operation and warned the plot owners strictly to adhere to building by-laws for any future construction or be ready to face the music, spokesman added.
