ISLAMABAD, Apr 06 (APP):The special court of Islamabad on Monday granted interim bail to TikToker Dr Fazila Abbasi in a case related to an alleged illegal clinic, allowing her relief until April 15 and directing her to join the investigation.
The case was heard by Special Judge Central Humayun Dilawar. During the hearing, Dr Abbasi approached the court seeking bail in the case.
After reviewing the request, the court approved interim bail against surety bonds worth Rs50,000. The judge also directed the accused to cooperate with investigators and become part of the inquiry process.
The case relates to the operation of a clinic without legal approval. Authorities have registered the case as part of an ongoing probe into alleged violations.
Dr Abbasi is already on bail in a separate money laundering case. The Federal Investigation Agency has registered two cases against her under anti-money laundering and anti-corruption laws.
The court has adjourned the hearing of the illegal clinic case until April 15, when further proceedings will take place.
