LAHORE, Oct 09 (APP):Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, met with 51 newly recruited assistants at the Central Police Office (CPO) on Thursday, extending his congratulations and welcoming them to the Punjab Police Force.
According to a police spokesman, the recruits, selected through the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC), hold advanced academic qualifications including MPhil, MA, MSc, BSc, and LLB degrees. During the meeting, IGP Dr Usman emphasised the importance of professionalism, urging the new assistants to make full use of their education and skills in performing their duties.
“Hardworking, competent and experienced office staff are the backbone of our department,” IGP added, highlighting the critical role administrative personnel play in the effective functioning of the police force.
