SARGODHGA, Oct 30 (APP): Inspector General Police (IGP) Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar paid a visit to Sargodha on Thursday and conducted a detailed inspection of Safe City, RPO Office, Police Khidmat Markaz, under-construction traffic and DPO offices.
Regional Police Officer Sargodha Muhammad Shahzad Asif Khan, DPO Suhaib Ashraf, SP Operations Safe City, Special Branch and other senior officers welcomed the IGP.
The RPO briefed the IGP Punjab about the performance of Safe City Sargodha, measures to curb crimes. He further informed that with the help of Safe City cameras, crimes in Sargodha City decreased by 21 percent.
The IGP directed to further improve monitoring through Safe City Project.
Dr Usman Anwer also visited various departments of RPO Office Sargodha, checked records, inquired about the facilities provided to the staff. He reviewed the facilities provided to the citizens at Police Khidmat Markaz. He also directed to expedite the construction work of under-construction offices.
