LAHORE, Dec 19 (APP):Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Dr Usman Anwar has taken notice of an incident in which two persons were killed as a result of firing over a land dispute within the jurisdiction of Police Station Shahpur Saddar, Sargodha.
The IGP Punjab sought a detailed report from the regional police officer (RPO) Sargodha and directed the district police officer (DPO) Sargodha to ensure the immediate arrest of the accused involved in the incident.
He ordered that all available resources be utilised to apprehend the suspects and bring those responsible to justice at the earliest.
According to a Punjab Police spokesperson, the deceased were identified as Daniyal and Hamid Ullah.
DPO Sargodha Sohaib Ashraf said that police and forensic teams had collected evidence from the crime scene, while special teams had been constituted to arrest the accused.
