LAHORE, Oct 27 (APP):Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has reiterated his commitment to the welfare and rehabilitation of special children of police employees by releasing an additional fund of Rs 40.5 million for children suffering from cerebral palsy.
According to a Punjab Police spokesperson, 135 special children of police employees have been provided Rs 30,000 each, while Rs 10,000 per month per child is being given for the welfare of those affected by cerebral palsy. So far, a total of Rs 765.1 million has been allocated for the welfare of special children during the current year.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar stated that comprehensive measures are being implemented for the treatment and rehabilitation of these special children. He reaffirmed the department’s commitment to ensuring that the lives of the special children of police employees are made easier, dignified, and fulfilling.
