LAHORE, Oct 27 (APP):Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has taken notice of a tragic incident in which two individuals were killed in a firing incident in the suburban area of Vithoay Wala, Kallur Kot, Bhakkar.
According to a Punjab Police spokesperson on Monday, the IGP Punjab has sought a detailed report from the regional police officer Sargodha and directed District Police Officer (DPO) Bhakkar Shehzad Rafiq Awan to ensure the immediate arrest of those involved. He further instructed that all available resources be utilised to bring the culprits to justice and to ensure the provision of justice to the affected family.
The spokesperson added that the victims were identified as 55-year-old Ejaz and 38-year-old Muhammad Rizwan. Police reached the scene, collected forensic evidence, and launched a comprehensive investigation into all aspects of the case.
DPO Shehzad Rafiq stated that the suspects would be arrested soon and brought before the court of law.
