LAHORE, Oct 22 (APP):Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Dr Usman Anwar met police employees and their families at the Central Police Office, Lahore, and issued immediate orders for relief on various service-related matters.
During the meeting, the IG Punjab personally listened to the problems of the employees and directed concerned officers to resolve them without delay.
According to details, on the request of Sub-Inspector Yasir Iqbal regarding his seniority, the Additional IG Punjab was instructed to provide necessary relief. Similarly, in response to Constable Ahmad Ilyas’s request for the release of his pending salary and dues, DIG Establishment-II was directed to ensure prompt action. The seniority-related matter of Sub-Inspector Waseem Latif was also referred to the Additional IG Punjab for resolution.
Dr. Usman Anwar also issued immediate instructions on other matters related to discipline, administration, promotions, and welfare, emphasizing that timely redressal of employees’ grievances remains a top priority of Punjab Police leadership.
