LAHORE, Jul 24 (APP):Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Dr Usman Anwar on Thursday met with police employees and their families at the Central Police Office and listened to their concerns regarding promotions, seniority, welfare and administrative matters.
According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, the IGP issued on-the-spot directives for immediate relief in several cases. He instructed the Additional IG Punjab to take prompt action on the promotion requests of Senior Traffic Wardens Shafi ur Rehman, Iqbal Hussain, Muhammad Ashraf and Shehbaz Hussain.
In addition, the IGP directed that necessary relief be provided in response to Inspector Syed Kamran Hashmi’s request for seniority re-fixation.
Dr. Usman also issued orders on various other appeals related to discipline, administration, promotions and welfare, reaffirming the police department’s commitment to resolving internal issues transparently and promptly.
