IG Punjab chairs police executive board meeting

LAHORE, Jul 25 (APP):Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar presided over the executive board meeting at the Central Police Office here on Thursday in which administrative and professional issues related to various field formations were discussed.
During the meeting, policy issues of various sectors including Special Protection Unit, Investigation, Traffic, Training, and Welfare were discussed in detail. Senior officers presented their suggestions and recommendations on under discussion administrative and policy issues. In the meeting, the under completion development projects, legislation, progress on the welfare measures of the force were also reviewed.
The IGP said that all presented proposals should be finalised and presented in the next meeting for decision-making. He instructed that supervisory officers personally supervise the completion of all ongoing projects within the specified timelines. He emphasized that steps should be continuously taken to improve service delivery based on citizen feedback.
Additional IG South Punjab Muhammad Kamran Khan participated in the meeting via video link. Additional IG Special Branch Zulfiqar Hameed, Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry, Additional IG Welfare Muhammad Riaz Nazir Gara, CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana, Additional IG CTD Wasim Sial, Additional IG Investigation Muhammad Idrees, Commandant PC Imran Arshad, Additional IG PHP Abdul Kareem, Additional IG Traffic Mirza Faran Baig, Additional IG IAB Imran Mahmood, Additional IG Training Tariq Rustam Chohan, and Additional IG Elite Waqar Abbasi, along with heads of all departments, DIGs, and other senior officers were also present.
