ISLAMABAD, Oct 09 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police’s Secretariat Police team has arrested two wanted members of a notorious gang involved in multiple theft and fraud incidents across the federal capital.
An official told APP on Thursday that the police team, using technical resources and human intelligence, traced and apprehended the accused involved in several robbery and cheating cases in various areas of Islamabad.
The arrested suspects were identified as Amjad and Adalat Khan. Police also recovered cash and other stolen valuables from their possession. Cases had already been registered against them, and further investigation is underway to uncover their network and recover more stolen property.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq appreciated the performance of the Secretariat Police team and directed officers to intensify the crackdown against criminal elements across the city.
