ISLAMABAD, Jul 27 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police, Karachi Company station team successfully apprehended three members of an organized gang involved in a recent theft incident, including two women, during a major operation conducted on Sunday.
A police spokesperson told APP that the arrested suspects were identified as Saadia Nauman, Abida Bibi, and Nauman. The police team also recovered stolen cash and a vehicle used in the crime from their possession. A case has been registered against them at Karachi Company Police Station.
The arrests were made under the ongoing crackdown against organized and active criminal gangs.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Muhammad Jawad Tariq stated that all legal procedures will be completed to ensure exemplary punishment for the accused.
DIG further emphasized that Islamabad Police is conducting large-scale operations against organized and mobile criminal gangs to ensure the safety and security of the federal capital.
