ISLAMABAD, Feb 15 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police’s Safe City Command and Control team held an important consultative meeting with TPL Maps Company to explore the development of modern, technology-driven software aimed at strengthening patrol operations in the federal capital.
An official told APP on Sunday that Director IT Atif Abbas, Deputy Director NOC Imtiaz Ahmed, and Assistant Director Abbas Mehdi participated in the meeting along with Digital Control Room officers and the Safe City technical team.

He said the meeting focused on developing advanced software integrated with digital mapping systems to improve the efficiency of patrol vehicles and motorcycles. The proposed technology is intended to enhance response time, situational awareness, and overall crime prevention capabilities.
The official said the performance of the Digital Control Room and existing police software systems was also reviewed, while further technological improvements were discussed.
Director IT Atif Abbas said that Safe City Islamabad continues 24/7 monitoring to support effective policing and crime control.
