ISLAMABAD, Jun 12 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police’s Kohsar Police station team carried out a major operation and apprehended a key member of an organized gang involved in theft incidents at commercial centers.
An official told on Thursday said that the arrested suspect was identified as Kamran Masih, who was wanted for his involvement in multiple theft cases targeting businesses in the area.
He said that stolen cash was recovered from the possession of the accused during the operation.
He said that a case has been registered against the accused at Kohsar Police Station, and further investigation is underway.
He said that all legal requirements would be fulfilled to ensure the accused is brought to justice and given due punishment under the law.
Large-scale crackdowns are being launched against organized and active criminal gangs operating in the capital under the special directives of DIG Muhammad Jawad Tariq.
