ISLAMABAD, Jul 29 (APP): Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police have arrested five drug dealers during an anti-narcotics crackdown conducted in the jurisdictions of Khanna and Kohsar police stations on Tuesday.

A police spokesperson told APP that the operation led to the recovery of over 13 kilograms of narcotics, including seven kilograms of hashish, four kilograms of heroin, and two kilograms of crystal meth (ice), with an estimated value in the millions.

The arrested suspects were identified as Muhammad Ramzan, Murtaza Ali Shah, Faisal Abbas, Mujtaba Ali, and Hussain Shah. Separate cases have been registered against them, and extensive investigations have been launched to trace the broader network behind the drug trade.
Police stated that facilitators of these drug dealers would also be brought to justice, and no criminal elements would be allowed to jeopardize the future of the youth.
Citizens have been urged to report any suspicious activities related to narcotics, with full assurance that the identity of informants will be kept strictly confidential.
