ISLAMABAD, Feb 19 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police continued their crackdown against criminal elements, resulting in the arrest of 14 accused in separate operations across the federal capital.
An official told APP on Thursday that police teams from Margalla, Sangjani, Koral and Nilore police stations arrested seven accused involved in different criminal activities.
Police teams also recovered 520 gram ice, five pistols and one rifle with ammunition from their possession. Cases have been registered against the arrested accused and further investigations are underway.
Additionally, during a special campaign launched for the arrest of proclaimed offenders and absconders, various police teams apprehended seven criminals.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, ICT Police are continuing effective operations to curb crime and maintain peace in the federal capital.
ICT Police reaffirmed their commitment to protecting the lives and property of citizens, emphasising that strict action against criminal elements will continue without discrimination.
