ISLAMABAD, Nov 19 (APP):Islamabad’s district administration reviewed the progress of the ongoing household survey during a meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Islamabad, Irfan Nawaz Memon, where officials briefed that survey teams are reaching homes across the Federal Capital every day to ensure accurate data collection for all residents.
Islamabad’s household survey is continuing across urban and rural areas, with field teams working daily to gather essential data from every household.
The latest review meeting, chaired by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Islamabad Irfan Memon, focused on the strategy, progress and technical support behind the survey.
Officials briefed the meeting that survey teams are visiting each home in the Federal Capital on a day-to-day basis. The objective is to ensure that every resident’s information is recorded accurately so the administration can maintain an updated and reliable database for planning and service delivery.
During the meeting, the district administration also reviewed the dedicated mobile application developed to support the survey process. The app is designed to help residents submit their information easily from their homes and reduce pressure on field teams. Officials shared that the app is being used actively and improvements have already been made based on public feedback.
DC Irfan Memon directed the technical team to make the application even simpler and faster for citizens. He emphasised that a smooth and user-friendly digital system is key to completing the survey efficiently. According to him, the app must serve as a reliable option for those who choose digital submission over physical visits.
The meeting was informed that several updates have been introduced to the app after residents shared their suggestions. These changes include faster data entry options, clearer instructions and an improved layout to ensure better user experience. The administration stated that further enhancements will continue as more feedback is received.
Officials highlighted that the household survey plays an important role in strengthening public services. The data being collected will help the district administration plan resources, improve safety measures and address the needs of communities across Islamabad. Ensuring complete participation is therefore essential for gaining an accurate understanding of the city’s population.
DC Irfan Memon appealed to citizens to cooperate fully with survey teams when they visit households. He added that keeping information updated is important for improving administrative planning and making the federal capital a more secure place. Residents were encouraged to verify their details, respond to survey staff and use the mobile app if they prefer digital submission.
