MULTAN, Jun 18 (APP):Joint Director, Institute of Cost and Management Accountants (ICMA), Multan, Samina Khan Kiani, said that ICMA Pakistan was playing a dynamic role in developing qualified accounting professionals to meet the key demands of public institutions and private sector business and industrial entities.
The importance of accounting education and training was on the high and increasing by each passing day, she said while addressing newly enrolled students during an educational seminar held at ICMA Multan.
She stated that the future belongs to Artificial Intelligence (AI), and students must equip themselves with modern knowledge and skills to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving world.
She urged students to work hard, remain dedicated to their studies, and strive to secure better employment opportunities for themselves and their families while contributing to the development and prosperity of Pakistan.
Samina Khan Kiani said that ICMA was providing quality education and professional training through a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty members. She advised students to focus wholeheartedly on their education and fulfill the dreams of their parents through commitment, determination, and hard work.
Chairman ICMA Multan Branch Council, Muhammad Yousaf Siddiqui, said that ICMA has been steadily strengthening its reputation in Pakistan and across the world. He noted that the institution has completed 75 years of excellence in accounting education and professional development. He congratulated the students on choosing ICMA and encouraged them to work diligently to achieve success in their careers.
Speaking on the occasion, Professor Dr. Ramzan Sheikh, Professor Yaseen Jamal, Imtiaz Bashir, Mrs. Aamira Sheikh, Mukhtar Kashif, and other faculty members said that under the leadership of Samina Khan Kiani, ICMA Multan was making remarkable progress. They described her as a highly educated and experienced professional whose vision and leadership was helping the institution achieve new milestones. They added that her mission to promote education and contribute to building a literate and progressive Pakistan would continue to enjoy their support.
During the ceremony, certificates were distributed among students, while parents, teachers, and guests were presented with commemorative souvenirs.
Students also shared their experiences, saying that they had learned a great deal from the institution’s faculty within a short period and pledged to work harder to fulfill their aspirations and bring pride to both ICMA and Pakistan.
