HYDERABAD, Jan 01 (APP):Hyderabad police arrested five suspects involved in aerial firing during New Year celebrations in Hyderabad and recovered illegal weapons from their possession.
According to a police spokesperson, Sakhi Pir police arrested Muhammad Urs Jahanzeb Bhano and recovered a 9mm pistol from him.
In a separate operation, a resident of Tando Wali Muhammad Mehdi Ali Samoon was arrested and a 30 bore pistol was seized from his possession. Market police arrested Muhammad Somar and recovered a 12 bore shotgun rifle.
Similarly, Hali Road police arrested Muzammil Hazarewal of Al-Waheed Colony and recovered an SMG type rifle, while A-Section police arrested Muhammad Arsalan and seized a 9mm pistol from him.
Cases have been registered against all the accused under relevant sections of the law at respective police stations, and further investigation is underway.
